The service

Vanilla Discounts adds promotions and reward codes to your Shopify store. Reward codes are ordinary Shopify discount codes created in your store by the app; promotions are app-owned automatic or code discounts applied at checkout by the app's discount function.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your rules, discount values and expiry settings correct — the app issues exactly what they say.
• Reward emails are marketing. Keep the consent safeguard on unless you have another lawful basis to email your customers.
• Uninstalling the app removes its discounts from your store; outstanding reward codes stop working at checkout.

Plans and billing

Each plan includes a number of reward rules, promotions and reward emails per month. Past the email allowance the app stops sending until the next month; codes are still created. Paid plans are billed through Shopify and can be cancelled at any time from Shopify.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses, including revenue lost through misconfigured promotions or codes, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months before the claim.
